About Us
Built by Family. Shaped by Service. Driven by Quality.
EBS Customs LLC was founded in 2021 in Poway, California by Eugene and Samantha Stewart.
What started as a way to better serve local teams, military organizations, families, and community groups quickly became something much bigger.
EBS Customs was built from real-life frustration.
As parents, coaches, service members, and community supporters, Eugene and Samantha saw the same problem over and over again:
- Families were paying too much for custom gear
- Military organizations were receiving inconsistent results
- Teams were getting rushed or low-quality apparel
- Customers were being passed between distributors, decorators, and suppliers
- The final product often did not match the importance of the event, team, or organization it represented
So in 2021, they decided to build something better.
Our Story
Eugene and Samantha Stewart are the husband-and-wife team behind EBS Customs LLC.
Samantha Stewart is a service-disabled female veteran and business owner.
Eugene Stewart has served 20 years in the U.S. military, had the privilege to coach both football and wrestling, and serves as the president of Wear to Give™, a nonprofit public charity focused on supporting youth, teams, and community-based causes.
Together, they are also parents to three boys, ages 8, 10, and 12.
Sports, service, family, and community are not just part of their business story — they are part of their everyday life.
From practices and tournaments to military events and school fundraisers, the Stewarts understand how much custom apparel means to the people wearing it.
It is not just a shirt, hat, hoodie, or uniform.
It represents:
- A team
- A mission
- A family
- A business
- A cause
- A memory
- A community
That is why EBS Customs takes every order personally.
Why EBS Customs Was Started
Before EBS Customs existed, Eugene and Samantha saw too many organizations get taken advantage of by the custom apparel industry.
Too often, customers were paying premium prices and receiving subpar results.
The goal behind EBS Customs was simple:
Build strong relationships with reliable suppliers and premier decorators so customers could receive better products, better decoration, and fairer pricing.
In the beginning, EBS Customs worked closely with trusted decoration partners and suppliers to provide quality custom apparel at a more reasonable price point for families, teams, and service members.
Over time, the business evolved.
Today, EBS Customs LLC offers several decoration services in-house while maintaining a dedicated relationship with a trusted screen-printing partner.
What We Do Today
EBS Customs LLC now provides high-quality custom decoration through:
- In-house embroidery
- Direct-to-film decoration
- Vinyl decoration
- Sublimation
- Screen printing
- Graphic Design
- Team apparel
- Business uniforms
- Spirit wear
- Fundraiser apparel
- Hats, polos, jackets, towels, bags, and more
This structure allows us to serve customers with flexibility while maintaining control over quality.
When a customer places an order with EBS Customs, they are not just sending their project into a system.
They are working with a team that understands decoration, production, deadlines, artwork, quality control, and customer service from start to finish.
Quality Control Comes First
Quality control is at the forefront of everything we do.
One of the biggest advantages of working with EBS Customs is that we are not simply passing your order to someone else and hoping it turns out right.
For many of our services, we are the decorator. That matters.
For example, if there is an issue with embroidery, we can address it directly because the work is being done by us. We do not have to play games with outside distributors or wait on another decorator to decide whether something should be fixed.
We can inspect it, correct it, and make it right. Fast.
That hands-on control allows us to provide a better experience and a better finished product.
Free Embroidery Stitch-Outs
Embroidery is one of the most detailed decoration methods in the apparel industry.
Before a logo is embroidered on a full order, it is important to make sure the design, thread colors, placement, and sizing are correct.
That is why EBS Customs offers free embroidery stitch-outs when the customer provides an additional garment or approved test item.
This is a service many companies charge extra for.
We offer it because we believe customers deserve to see and approve the work before moving into production.
A stitch-out helps confirm:
- Logo size
- Thread colors
- Stitch quality
- Placement
- Overall appearance
- How the design looks on the actual material
It is one more way we protect the customer and the final product.
Our Spoilage Policy
In custom decoration, spoilage can happen.
A garment can shift. A thread can break. A placement can be slightly off. A fabric may react differently than expected.
Rather than pretending that never happens, we plan for it.
For embroidery orders, EBS Customs allows customers to provide up to 2% additional blank items with their order. If spoilage occurs during production, we will decorate those additional blanks at no additional decoration charge, as long as the extra items are noted on the order.
This gives customers added protection and helps ensure the final quantity is correct.
It is a simple policy, but it reflects how we do business:
Be upfront. Be fair. Make it right.
Why Customers Choose EBS Customs
Customers choose EBS Customs because we care about the result, not just the order.
We focus on:
- Professional decoration
- Fair and transparent service
- Reliable communication
- Quality control
- Practical product recommendations
- Clean artwork placement
- Strong supplier relationships
- Community-focused support
- Long-term customer relationships
We understand that most customers are not experts in embroidery, screen printing, direct-to-film decoration, or apparel sourcing. That is our job.
Our role is to guide customers through the process, explain the options, recommend what makes sense, and deliver a finished product they are proud to wear, sell, gift, or represent their organization with.
Built Around Community
EBS Customs is more than a custom apparel company.
It is a family-owned business built around service, youth athletics, military community, and local relationships.
Whether we are producing gear for a youth sports team, uniforms for a business, apparel for a military event, or fundraiser merchandise for a nonprofit, we understand that the order means something to the people receiving it.
That is why we take pride in doing the job right.
Our Commitment
At EBS Customs, our commitment is simple:
We want every customer to feel confident in what they ordered and proud of what they receive.
We are here to provide:
- Quality products
- Reliable decoration
- Honest communication
- Fair pricing
- Hands-on quality control
- A better custom apparel experience
From one family to another, from one team to another, and from one organization to another — we are proud to help bring your brand, mission, and message to life.
